Brian McAdams
Brian McAdams has been involved in successful entrepreneurial ventures for nearly 25 years. McAdams' expertise is in strategic marketing, business development, and raising capital stems from an extensive background in both consumer and business-to-business ventures. McAdams has completed over 40 transactions involving M&A. In his most recent venture, McAdams was Vice Chairman of PCSupport Inc and CEO of MyHelpDesk, Inc., an award-winning online computer help directory consecutively named to PC Magazine’s 'Top 100 Websites' (1999, 2000) and awarded the 2000 Innovation in Service Award by IT Support News.
Prior to MyHelpdesk, McAdams founded Stratvis, Inc., a consulting firm that provides management expertise and strategic direction to early-stage and mid-stage companies. While at Stratvis, McAdams served as Chairman and CEO. His portfolio includes service as executive partner and advisor to Gryphon Investors, Inc. Various affiliations included service an advisor to DeliveryInc.com, service as Chairman of Healthcare Integrated Technology Solutions, Inc., and service as Director with Oddessy Pharmaceuticals and MedAppeal. Between 1994-1997, McAdams was chairman and CEO of NYSE-listed National Media Corporation, a $300 million worldwide leader in television direct marketing. Under McAdams leadership, National Media Corp. grew its reach to more than 400 million households in nearly 100 countries. In 1976, McAdams co-founded and managed McAdams, Richman and Ong, a strategic marketing, advertising, design company. Under his leadership for more than 15 years, the company secured and maintained a number of high profile accounts, including, Tylenol, Hewlett-Packard, Subaru, Drexel University and many other regional companies and brands. McAdams has a bachelor of science from St. Joseph University.
Eric Bulock
In his most recent venture, Eric Bulock co-founded MyHelpDesk, Inc., an award-winning online computer help directory consecutively named to PC Magazine’s 'Top 100 Websites' (1999, 2000) and awarded the 2000 Innovation in Service Award by IT Support News. Prior to MyHelpDesk, Bulock spent 10 years innovating, developing, and marketing support related database and online publishing efforts for Ziff Davis’ PC Week, Powersoft Corporation and Electronic Book Technologies (EBT). Bulock started his career at PC Week, where he was instrumental in developing Ziff Davis' pioneering online services and was awarded the Ben Franklin Award for innovation and leadership. Other notable projects include the development of the Windows 3.1 Bible CD-ROM companion and development of the Powersoft Infobase, an award-winning, electronic technical support information product. In 1996 Bulock founded Passport Express, a leading online travel business specializing in expediting passport and visa procurement (Featured in Jan 2001 Entrepreneur’s Startups magazine). Bulock holds a BA in Economics & Sociology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
